blaze has good drinks, good wine, and good food. one of the nicer restaurants in Bangor that I have been to.

Awesome food, great service even when busy. Easily my favorite Friday/Saturday night spot.

We stopped in Bangor to check out some sites and came across this great spot in the city center. They have a huge menu, and the wood fired pizza is super delicious! Great, friendly staff. Definitely try the pizza!

I still have dreams about the pork lollipops here. If that doesn't tell you exactly what you need to know, I don't know what will. Service was nice The vibe was nice, could be romantic for sure But holy smokes the food. I absolutely recommend this place. AND GET. THE PORK. LOLLIPOPS.

Went to @blazebangor for dinner on Tuesday with a friend after being kindly sent a gift card from the restaurant general manager. I wanted to give the restaurant another chance and boy was it a great decision. I started with the poutine (not pictured) and was so satisfied. Such a large portion and the gravy is so decadent, very onion forward and thicker than most found on poutine. Their fries are some of the best around, super crispy and nicely fried. I had the steak and cheese as my main (pic 1) and it was quite tasty. The meat was a little on the drier side but the cheese sauce and roasted peppers made up for it. The roll didn't get soggy like many do in a cheesesteak. My friend got the taco special which had pork belly and she loved it. They have a Taco Tuesday deal which is a set of two tacos plus fries and a margarita for $20, an absolute steal in my opinion for the quality. Really enjoyed my visit. Drinks: 8/10 Food: 8/10 Ambiance: 7.5/10 Overall Experience: 8/10

Have been here several times for brunch and dinner; always tried different things and NEVER been disappointed! Brunch is great with sweet and savory options. Loved the mimosa trio that came with a bottle of bubbly and 3 juices to experiment with. The poutine with duck fat fries and gravy (obvi cheese curds too) was soooo decadent but I was craving those fatty flavors. Great find for more authentic poutine! Those are just the highlights. The only con is there is usually a wait whenever we've gone.
